Short fiction 1998

Bang! Not a bullet but a burst of inspiration: UCLA's young writers publish their stories.
A reading of works from the UCLA student-published anthology Bang! will introduce seventeen new voices, among them five award winners in the English department's annual competitions, at Dutton's Brentwood bookstore. UCLA professor Greg Sarris will MC the event, and UCLA visiting professor Sandra Caruso will direct the readers in presenting excerpts from their works. The writers are:
