The George T. and Margaret W. Romani Fellowships

George T. and Margaret W. Romani Fellowships help support graduate students at UCLA. Each year, one or two CMRS Romani Fellowships of $20,000 will be awarded to students nominated by their academic departments. Nominees must express a commitment to pursuing studies in some aspect of the Middle Ages or Renaissance, and must be studying under the mentorship of a faculty member who is an active member of CMRS. Funding for student fees, tuition, and other expenses must be provided by the recipient’s academic department or other sources.

Application Procedure:

There are no application materials for the student to submit to CMRS.

Students wishing to be considered for a CMRS Romani Fellowship should discuss it with their faculty advisor and/or the Chairperson of their academic department. The Center will be calling for nominations for 2010-11 CMRS Romani Fellows from the department early in Winter Quarter 2010.
