Profiles of UCLA Foreign Language Educators

Elissa Tognozzi

Elissa Tognozzi received her Ph.D. in Italian literature from UCLA in 1993 and has been a Lecturer in the Department of Italian since 1997. Her duties include coordination of the Italian language program, language instruction, and supervision of teaching assistants. In addition, she has been involved in several research projects regarding technology and foreign language pedagogy. Presently she is co-authoring a second year Italian text, Italiano Terzo Millennio, which will be published by Houghton Mifflin in 2002.
