Current Field Research

Turkey-Istanbul                                                                                                                  

Eyup is the burial site of Eyup Sultan and is a holy site for visitation Ziyara. Over the centuries many pious institutions such as soup kitchens Imarat, libraries Kutupkhane as well as mausolea were built near the tomb of  Eyup.
