| POLICIES AND PROCEDURES The Clark Library's primary responsibility is to the students, faculty, staff and international scholars affiliated with the Clark Library, the Center for 17th-& 18th-Century Studies, and the University of California. However, the Library's mission includes making its resources available to others whenever possible. Researchers are expected to abide by the library rules (see handout or website) which are designed to maintain the integrity of the collections, to ensure the preservation of the collections, and to provide for long-term access. In order to protect and preserve the collections, materials administered by the library do not circulate, but may be consulted in the library’s Reading Room. For identification and security purposes, researchers working with the Clark’s collections must present a current government identification, such as a driver's licence, passport or state ID. FEES Fees will be charged for duplication services. Reproduction agreements may also require fees. |
