MICROFILM OF EARLY ENGLISH BOOKS AND 18TH-CENTURY BOOKS
There are three large ongoing projects to film selections of the English books, and UCLA subscribes to all of them. The sets of microfilm are indexed by the ESTC:

For 1475-1640, the set is called Early English books, 1475-1640, and is located in Microform and Media Services at the Young Research Library (YRL) on campus.

For 1641-1700, the set is called Early English books, 1641-1700, and is located at the Clark Library. These reels are available to be used there, and can also be paged to be used in Microfilm and Media Services at YRL.

For 1701-1800, the set is called The Eighteenth Century , and is located in SRLF. These reels must be paged from SRLF, and can be read in any library on campus.
