Opportunities for Employment
in the UCLA Department of Classics

We welcome applications from graduate students in all programs who have appropriate preparation and/or experience in the ancient Mediterranean world. Applicants outside the Department of Classics should submit a curriculum vitae, including summary of teaching, experience or teaching evaluations in all courses, and a letter of reference from graduate adviser or other faculty member. Preference, of course, will be given to graduate students in Classics, but we especially wish to support students in the related fields of Archaeology, Architecture, Art History, Comparative Literature, English, History, Indo-European Studies, Near Eastern Language and Cultures, and the School of Theater, Film and Television.

Applications for teaching in 2008-09 will be due 1 May 2008.
