Linguistics 1 web assignments will be available after lectures on Thursdays. The assignments will be cut off a week later at 11:55 PM Wednesday. For example,
Web Assignment 1: available Thursday 4/1/2008 at 11:00 AM until Wednesday 4/9/2008 at 11:55 PM
(1) Go to the ecampus site for Linguistics 1
(2) Log in:
- User ID = your 9-digit student number
- Password = last four digits of your Social Security number
(3) Click on the link to Web Assignments
(4) Click on the link to Web Assignment 1 (or 2, 3, etc. depending on the week)
(5) Do the assignment and submit your answers. YOU CAN DO THE ASSIGNMENT AS MANY TIMES AS YOU WANT. ONLY THE HIGHEST SCORE YOU SUBMIT WILL BE RECORDED.
(1) 1.5 points toward your course grade in weeks 1-8, 2.5 points toward your course grade in weeks 9-10: submitted assignment with a perfect score
(2) (For Assignments 1-8) 1 point toward your course grade: submitted assignment with less than a perfect score, but a score greater than 0; (for assignments 9-10) your score will be calculated as a percentage of 2.5, that is, if the assignment is worth 10 points and your score (averaged over two tries) is 9.3, you will get 93% of 2.5 = 2.33.
(3) 0 points toward your course grade: no submitted assignment or an assignment with no correct answers
