Total number of courses:  8

2 Lower Division courses:

           - one of 7 or 21
           - one of 22 or 31

At least 5 upper division courses, 1 from each of 3 groups.

          Group I:    History of Philosophy
          Group II:   Logic, Semantics, Philosophy of Science
          Group III:  Ethics and Value Theory
          Group IV: Metaphysics and Epistemology

Plus 1 additional lower or upper division course in philosophy.


Notes:

- It is easy to switch from the minor to the major and vice versa.
- Courses that count for the Minor may NOT be taken P/NP.

To enter the minor, students must have an overall grade-point average of 2.0 or better, and file a blue petition at the Philosophy Student Affairs Office, Dodd 329.
