UnderGraduate Admissions
Admission as an undergraduate to UCLA is handled directly by the campus Admissions Office. The Philosophy Department is not involved in this process.
Once admitted, any student who satisfies the lower division course requirements for the major may become a Philosophy Major. At present, there are no limits on the number of people who major in Philosophy, and we anticipate no limits in the forseeable future.
