Friends of the Center

    A portion of the programming of the center enhances positive relations between the university and those thoughtful persons in the general public of Los Angeles -- and beyond -- who look to university-level research and reflection on religious phenomena to promote understanding and tolerance in an increasingly diversified and fragmented society. It is to such persons, among others, that appeal is made for funds to found and maintain the new center.
The Friends of the Center is a support group that entitles its members to participate more fully in the events sponsored by the Center. The Center depends on public support for the bulk of its funding.
