Graduate Studies in Romance Linguistics and Literature
The RLL interdepartmental program is a graduate program offering M.A. and Ph.D. degrees. Students who enter with only the B.A. degree must first register in the M.A. program. The focus of the program is on linguistic and/or literary study of Romance languages. The Program requires all degree candidates to demonstrate competence in the linguistic structure or the literature of at least two Romance languages. Candidates for the M.A. degree are examined in, at least, two subfields. Candidates for the Ph.D. degree are examined in three subfields. This page only gives succint and informal information. Please consult the UCLA catalog for the official description of the requirements and qualifications regarding admissions, courses of study and degrees.

Romance Linguistics and Literature Courses
