Minor in Russian Language

Preparation includes a year of language study of the equivalent (Russian 3 or 13B or 15B or 10) and a choice of two courses from the following

  • Russian 25W: Russian Novel in Translation
  • Russian 30: Russian Literature and World Cinema
  • Russian 90A: Introduction to Russian Civilization
  • or Russian 90B: Russian Civilization in the Twentieth Century
  • or Russian 90BW: Russian Civilization in the Twentieth Century with satisfaction of Letters and Science Writing II requirement

    or
  • Second year of language study of the equivalent ( Russian 4, 5, 6 or 20 ).

Option 1: Russian 101A-101B-101C (Third-Year Russian), plus any two additional upper-division Russian language and literature courses.

Option 2: Russian 100A-100B-100C (Literacy in Russian), plus any two additional upper-division Russian language and literature courses.

Option 3: Russian 103A-103B-103C (Russian for Native and Near-Native Speakers), plus any two additional upper-division Russian language and literature courses.
