The extended due date for submitting is now March 1st, 2004.
Our publication comes out on June, and submissions on or before the due date will have a greater chance of acceptance, which is announced in the first week of May, at the latest. Publication decisions are based solely on the quality of the submissions, which undergo double-blind review.
To be considered for publication, manuscripts should not exceed 25 double-spaced pages, including endnotes, and must follow MLA guidelines (latest edition). The original and three copies are required for all work. It is presumed that all submissions are original research, not previously published in any other form and not under consideration by another journal.
Please do not write the author's name on manuscripts but include it in a cover letter, along with the title of the article, institutional afiliation, email, and work and/or home address. Page numbering is important, please include. Original rejected manuscipts will be returned if sufficient loose postage is provided.
The following categories are accpeted for reviews: academic books, linguistics, and new prose and fiction, all works published within the last two years. Reviews should be between 600 and 2,000 words in length. Publishers and authors are welcome to submit books for possible selection.
We can now accept electronic submissions, via email, and we encourage this method when possible. If submitting a hard copy, an electronic copy in MS Word 6.0, WordPerfect 5.0, or higher format will be needed upon approval. After publication, authors receive three
complimentary copies of the issue in which their work appears.
