Description:
English Composition 100W helps students develop academic papers with a range
of complexity and length. Its focus is on the conventions of academic
prose and genres across the disciplines. Assignments include common
forms of academic writing such as argument, the research paper,
and/or the critical essay.
Notes:
Prerequisites:
Satisfaction of Subject A and English Composition/Writing I requirements;
sophomore standing or above, or permission of instructor.
This
class fulfills the writing requirement for Sociology and Economics
majors.
Completion
of this course with a grade of C or better satisfies the Writing
II requirement.
