English Composition 132A-D: Topics in Rhetoric and Writing

Course Description:
The 132 series defines and explores special topics that relate matters of rhetoric/writing to social, political, or cultural concerns: A) Gender and Writing; B) Autobiographical Writing; C) Cultural Studies; D) Variable Topics. Recent 132 topics have included: "The Discourses of Psychoanalysis"; "Women, Resistance, and Violence--Philippines, Vietnam, and India"; "The Discourses of Cyberspace."

  • Prerequisites: Satisfaction of Subject A and Writing I requirements; upper division standing.
