Course
Description:
English Composition 495B and C are required of applicants for teaching assistantship.
Instructors center on practical concerns of designing a composition
course, creating assignments, grading papers, and holding conferences.
The 495 series also involves mentors from Writing Programs' faculty.
495B is offered in the Fall before students are assigned their
first English 3 section. The "C" section runs concurrently
with their first quarter of teaching.
