Ecampus Login Help for Students

1. You may log in by going directly to this URL:

http://ecampusce.humnet.ucla.edu

2. Click on the "Log in to myWebCT" link.

3. On the next page you will enter your username/password.

What is my username?

  • Your 9-digit student ID (without spaces or dashes).

  • e.g. 123456789

What is my default password?

  • It is the last 4 digits of your social security number or if you don't have a social security number on record with UCLA, then the 2-digit month and 2-digit day of your birthday is your password.

Note:

You use the same login information if you come to this login page from the MyUCLA page or from the Registrar's link to a course login page.

If it is the first time you ever log in with the login credentials, you’ll be asked to set up a password hint question and answer. Click “OK” to type in the hinted information or you may click “cancel” to skip these steps.

4. Click "Log in."

You have now successfully logged into Ecampus!

Upon a successful login . . . how to change my password?

Upon a successful login, you'll be directed to the course index page. Click Password settings to change your password.

If your username/password is not working, it may be due to one of the following reasons:

1. You're not yet officially enrolled in the course. Or if you have just enrolled in the last 24-36 hours, it will take a day for the system to be updated.

2. We have not activated student access to Ecampus for the upcoming quarter. Generally we activate student accounts approximately one week prior to the beginning of instruction.

3. You have previously changed your password from the default and can't remember your new password. If this is the case, please contact Ecampus support and we'll reset your password for you.
