Welcome to Ecampus help!

Ecampus hosts course websites for the Humanities Division at UCLA. All undergraduate courses have a website, and some graduate courses have one if the instructor has requested it. Courses from other divisions, like social sciences, life and physical sciences, engineering, and arts and architecture are not on Ecampus. Please login to MyUCLA and follow your course website links to find the sites for your non-Humanities classes.

Frequently Asked Questions

These pages are designed to help students and instructors use Ecampus course websites. They contain information about many of the basic tools and capabilities of Ecampus, including login help, browser settings, and customizing your course site.

Don't Forget the Built-In Help!

You can access context-sensitive help from within Ecampus at any time. Click on the page or tool you are trying to use, and then click Help in the upper right corner. This will bring up a page of instructions on that particular tool (the context-sensitive help is written by WebCT, the creators of our Ecampus software).

Ask Dr. C -- User Forum

Another resource is Ask Dr. C, a forum where experienced WebCT users share questions and answers. The forum for WebCT Campus Edition (what we use for Ecampus) is at http://www.webct.com/ask_drc/viewpage?name=ask_drc_ce.

Please note that instructors can always contact the ITC (Instructional Technology Consultant)
assigned to their department for personal assistance with Ecampus.
