1. How do I log into Ecampus?

4. When can I log into Ecampus? When will my course site be ready?

Course websites are created when the Regsitrar's Schedule of Classes is made available for a given quarter. Student access to the sites for a given quarter is activated only a few days before instruction begins, so you will not have access before then, unless you self-register.

Once created, Ecampus course sites are available 24 hours a day, so you can log in any time that is convenient. You will be able to access sites for the current and preceding quarter.

You must be enrolled in a course for at least 24 hours before it will be added to your Ecampus account. It takes the Registrar and Ecampus a minimum of 24 hours to process enrollments and add new students to the system (and until Monday if you enroll on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday).

5. I can log into Ecampus, but my site doesn't appear in my course listings. How can I get to it?

Please confirm your enrollment in the course, and wait at least 24 hours before attempting to access your course site (or until Monday if you enrolled on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday). If you are not enrolled in the course, you will not appear in the Registrar's database from which Ecampus draws its data. Once you are in the Registrar's system, you can expect to have access to the course within 24 hours. If you need access immediately, you may add the course to your E campus account by self-registering. Click here for help on how to self-register for a course.

If it has been over 24 hours, try these alternative methods to login to the site:

  • Click on Course Site when viewing the course on the Registrar's Schedule of Classes.
  • Login to MyUCLA and click the name of the course on your Courses page.
  • Go to the Ecampus Entry Page (ecampusce.humnet.ucla.edu) and click on See Courses. Find the desired course in the listing, and click on the name of the course.

If none of these alternative methods allows you to access the site, please contact Ecampus support for assistance.
