ARTstor is a digital library of art images, associated information, and software tools designed to enhance teaching, learning, and scholarship. ARTstor contains approximately 550,000 images from a wide range of cultures and time periods. Click on the "Enter the ARTstor digital library" link on the ARTstor website (www.artstor.org) to enter the Digital Library. (Source: ARTstor Overview )
Instructors can use images from ARTstor in a variety of ways. They can create annotated image collections on ARTstor to share with students or colleagues, include high-quality, zoomable images in presentations by using the Offline Image Viewer, or download smaller copies of the images to use in PowerPoint presentations or post on password-protected course websites. ARTstor is a non-profit organization created by The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.

Reminders
Before using ARTstor, remember that
- Access is restricted to UCLA networks . This means that if you are off-campus, you must connect through Bruin Online dialup, the Bruin Online proxy server or VPN (Virtual Private Network). More information about these services is available at http://www.bol.ucla.edu
- ARTstor uses pop-up windows . This means that pop-up windows must be "enabled," "allowed," or "not blocked" for www.artstor.org. ARTstor opens new windows to display images and their information. Instructions for enabling pop-up windows can be found at http://www.artstor.org/webhelp/ARTstor_Help.htm#Disable_Pop-up_Blocking_Software.htm
