Processing Audio for Streaming Web Delivery:
- Create a folder in which to keep your files and place your original files in it. Inside of the folder create two subfolders. Title one:" 56k" and the other "bb."
- Open Cleaner. Choose File > New
- Name and save your project in your main folder
- In the folder which contains your original files, SELECT ALL of your files.
- Drag them into the Cleaner window. [fig 1.1 above]
- Inside Cleaner, SELECT ALL of your files. Choose Batch > Specify Setting.
- Follow this path ( [fig 1.2 below]): ITC Video & Audio Settings/Audio Settings/Web Delivery/Streaming/ Broadband/ Broad_Streaming_MusicAudioMov. Select this last choice.
- Next Press the Apple Key and Select Dialup/ Dialup_Streaming_MusicAudioMov. Click APPLY.
- Now you are back in the main window and your broadband files will be selected. Choose Batch > Set Custom Destination [fig 1.3 below]
- In the destination box, click FOLDER, then click ADD and search for the bb folder. Click Choose/OK/OK. When you return to the main window, your dial up files will not be selected so you must select them. Once you do so, repeat the proceedure for the 56k folder.
- You will return again to the main folder. Select All and click PLAY.
- Cleaner will process your files. This can take awhile, so be prepared to do something else during processing.
- When you are finished you will want to load your files onto the media server. Please contact your ITC to do so.
