- Choose File > Share and click QuickTime [Fig. 8].
- Choose Expert Settings from the compression pop-up menu.
- If you're exporting selected clips in the Clip Viewer, check the "Share selected clips only" checkbox.
- Click Share.
- Type a name for your movie and choose where you want to save it.
- Choose "Movie to QuickTime Movie" from the Export pop-up menu and click Options [Fig. 9].
- In the Video Pane [Fig. 10], click Settings to open the Compression Settings window.
- Choose Sorenson Video 3 from the pop-up menu [Fig. 11].
- In the Quality pane, choose High.
- In the Motion pane, enter the settings appropriate for your purpose. (See the table for recommended settings.)
- Click OK to return to the Movie Settings window.
- In the Video pane (Fig. 10), click Size to open the Export Size Settings window [Fig. 12].
- Click "Use custom size" and enter the settings appropriate for your purpose. (See the table for recommended settings.)
- Click OK to close the Export Size Settings window, the click OK to close the Movie Settings window.
- In the Sound pane (Fig. 10), click Settings.
- Choose a compressor and enter the settings appropriate for your purpose [Fig. 13]. (See the table for recommended settings.)
- Click OK to return to the Movie Settings window.
- Click OK and Save to start exporting.
