DIEBOLD CHAIR
The Program in Indo-European Studies at UCLA is very pleased that Professor Craig Melchert, formerly Paul Debreczeny Distinguished Professor of Linguistics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, is the first A. Richard Diebold Professor of Indo-European Studies at UCLA, beginning with the academic year 2007–8.

- 20th Annual UCLA Indo-European Conference
Friday–Saturday, 31 October – 1 November 2008- We are now soliciting papers for the 2008 Conference. The deadline for preliminary abstracts is 1 June 2008. For more information, see the Call for Papers.
