FINAL ELECTRONIC ABSTRACTS
NB: Information on this page pertains to the revised and finalized version of accepted abstracts.
Abstracts accepted for the conference will be published on line to supplement the printed and on-line conference program. Participants are given the opportunity to revise their abstracts and invited to submit electronic versions by 1 October 2008. For the sake of uniformity, the following guidelines have been formulated:
- The text of the body of the abstract
must be
- in 11–12-point font
- 1.5-spaced
- 1–2 pages (8½"x11" or A4)
- The electronic abstract can be submitted to Mr.
Randall Gordon (Doctoral
Student/Publications Coordinator, Annual Indo-European Conference
Student Organizing Committee) either as an attachment to an
e-mail message or made available for download in one of the
following formats:
- Portable Document Format (PDF)
- Those with the full version of Adobe® Acrobat® or users of Mac OS X can print directly from the word processing application into this format, which is best for preserving special characters and diacritics.
- Adobe® offers a free limited on-line PDF creation service. CutePDF Writer, Pdf995, PDFCreator, and PrimoPDF are free alternative PDF-authoring applications available to Windows users.
- Postscript (PS)
- This output option should be available in the ‘Print’ dialog of the word processing application.
The deadline for electronic abstracts is 1 October 2008. Electronic abstracts will be available from the Program’s website on a rolling basis.
Contact Mr. Randall Gordon regarding any questions or concerns and for additional information.
