Areas of Interest

Sixteenth and Seventeenth-Century Spanish literature, especially narrative fiction. I am interested in harmonizing ideological analysis of texts within their relevant socio-ideological contexts and exploration of characters' motivation using the techniques of psycholoanalysis.
