The
Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures at
UCLA offers a rigorous program leading to the B.A.,
M.A., and Ph.D. degrees. Russian is typically the
major language of study, but instruction is also offered
in Bulgarian, Czech, Polish, Serbo-Croatian and Ukrainian,
as well as two non-Slavic languages of Eastern Europe,
Lithuanian and Romanian.
