1999/2000 Spanish Placement Exam Information

Note: If you have had any high school exposure to Spanish you must take this exam to be allowed into a class.

You do NOT need to take the exam if...

  • You have never taken Spanish or have less than one year's experience. In this case you may start with Spanish 1.

  • You have taken Spanish at another college. You should begin at the next highest level, but make sure you check your DPR to verify the credits you have received. You CANNOT get credit more than once for the same level.

  • You have received college credit for Spanish through Advanced Placement.
